21. Actions while Praying

Narrated by:Sahl bin Sa`d

Narrated Sahl bin Sa`d:The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "The saying 'Sub Han Allah' is for men and clapping is for women.

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، أَخْبَرَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏"‏ التَّسْبِيحُ لِلرِّجَالِ وَالتَّصْفِيحُ لِلنِّسَاءِ ‏"‏‏.‏
