22. The Book of Musaqah

'Uthman b. 'Affan reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:Do not sell a dinar for two dinars and one dirham for two dirhams.

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الطَّاهِرِ، وَهَارُونُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الأَيْلِيُّ، وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ عِيسَى، قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ، وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي مَخْرَمَةُ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنَ يَسَارٍ، يَقُولُ إِنَّهُ سَمِعَ مَالِكَ بْنَ، أَبِي عَامِرٍ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَفَّانَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏"‏ لاَ تَبِيعُوا الدِّينَارَ بِالدِّينَارَيْنِ وَلاَ الدِّرْهَمَ بِالدِّرْهَمَيْنِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏
