40. Prescribed Punishments (Kitab Al-Hudud)
Al-Auza’i said:The word shukkta means tied, meaning her clothes were tied on her.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْوَزِيرِ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ، عَنِ الأَوْزَاعِيِّ، قَالَ فَشُكَّتْ عَلَيْهَا ثِيَابُهَا . يَعْنِي فَشُدَّتْ .
