46. The Book of Cutting off the Hand of the Thief

Narrated by:Ibn 'Umar that

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that:the Messenger of Allah cut off (a thief's hand) for a shield which cost three Dirhams.

أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَطَعَ فِي مِجَنٍّ ثَمَنُهُ ثَلاَثَةُ دَرَاهِمَ ‏.‏
