48. The Book of Adornment

Narrated by:'Ali that

It was narrated from 'Ali that :The Messenger of Allah [SAW] forbade (wearing) garments dyed with safflower, and Al-Qassiyah garments, and reciting Qur'an while he is bowing.

أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ حُنَيْنٍ، عَنْ بَعْضِ، مَوَالِي الْعَبَّاسِ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَهَى عَنِ الْمُعَصْفَرِ وَالثِّيَابِ الْقَسِّيَّةِ وَعَنْ أَنْ يَقْرَأَ وَهُوَ رَاكِعٌ ‏.‏
