48. The Book of Adornment

Narrated by:Jabir that

It was narrated from Jabir that:On the Day of the Conquest of Makkah, the Messenger of Allah [SAW] entered (the city) wearing a black turban, and he was not in Ihram.

أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم دَخَلَ يَوْمَ فَتْحِ مَكَّةَ وَعَلَيْهِ عِمَامَةٌ سَوْدَاءُ بِغَيْرِ إِحْرَامٍ ‏.‏
