51. The Book of Drinks

Narrated by:'Ali - may Allah honor his face - that

It was narrated from 'Ali - may Allah honor his face - that:The Prophet [SAW] forbade Ad-Dubba' (gourds) and Al-Muzaffat.

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ التَّيْمِيِّ، عَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ سُوَيْدٍ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، كَرَّمَ اللَّهُ وَجْهَهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنَّهُ نَهَى عَنِ الدُّبَّاءِ وَالْمُزَفَّتِ ‏.‏
