51. The Book of Drinks

Ibn 'Abbas said:"Whoever would like to regard as forbidden that which Allah and His Messenger [SAW] regard as forbidden, let him regard Nabidh as forbidden."

أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ، وَالنَّضْرُ بْنُ شُمَيْلٍ، وَوَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ، قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْحَكَمِ، يُحَدِّثُ قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ مَنْ سَرَّهُ أَنْ يُحَرِّمَ، - إِنْ كَانَ مُحَرِّمًا مَا حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ - فَلْيُحَرِّمِ النَّبِيذَ ‏.‏
