06. The Book of the Times (of Prayer)

Narrated by:'Ali said

It was narrated that 'Ali said:"The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)forbade praying after 'Asr unless the sun was still white, clear and high."

أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ هِلاَلِ بْنِ يِسَافٍ، عَنْ وَهْبِ بْنِ الأَجْدَعِ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَنِ الصَّلاَةِ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ إِلاَّ أَنْ تَكُونَ الشَّمْسُ بَيْضَاءَ نَقِيَّةً مُرْتَفِعَةً ‏.‏
