Sunan Ibn Majah 2271

12. The Chapters on Business Transactions

It was narrated from Jabir that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:"There is nothing wrong with selling animals, one for two, hand to hand," but he disliked selling them on credit.

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ، وَأَبُو خَالِدٍ عَنْ حَجَّاجٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ ‏"‏ لاَ بَأْسَ الْحَيَوَانُ بِالْحَيَوَانِ وَاحِدًا بِاثْنَيْنِ يَدًا بِيَدٍ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ وَكَرِهَهُ نَسِيئَةً ‏.‏
