Sunan Ibn Majah 3990

36. Tribulations

It was narrated from ‘Abdullah bin ‘Umar that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:“People are like a hundred camels; you can hardly find one worth riding among them.”

حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الدَّرَاوَرْدِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ ‏"‏ النَّاسُ كَإِبِلِ مِائَةٍ لاَ تَكَادُ تَجِدُ فِيهَا رَاحِلَةً ‏"‏ ‏.‏
