46. The Book of Cutting off the Hand of the Thief

Narrated by:'Aishah that the Messenger of Allah said

It was narrated from 'Aishah that the Messenger of Allah said:"The hand of the thief is to be cut off for one-quarter of a Dinar or more."

أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عَمْرَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏"‏ تُقْطَعُ يَدُ السَّارِقِ فِي رُبُعِ دِينَارٍ فَصَاعِدًا ‏"‏ ‏.‏
